At the 57th Biennial Convention of the Order of the Sons and Daughters of Italy which convened in Jersey City, New Jersey, Robert A. Bianchi, Esq. was elected and sworn in as the 38th President of the organization.
The Committee of Social Justice is happy to announce that Judge Paula Patrick of Philadelphia’s Common Pleas Court has ruled that the Columbus Statue will remain in South Philly. “It is baffling to this court as to how the City of Philadelphia wants to remove the Statue without any legal basis. The city’s entire argument and case is devoid of any legal foundation,” Judge Patrick wrote.
